Omid has been making audiences laugh since the 1970s when he entertained guests at his Iranian parents’ guest-house in London. The audiences kept growing and today he is one of the UK’s most-loved comedians, with award-winning global tours.

In addition to stand-up, Omid has acted in an array of Hollywood films, theatre productions and television shows and wrote and starred in The Omid Djalili Show on BBC for two seasons where he showcased the comedic diversity of Britain. He has served as Executive Producer on films such as About a Bell, We Are Many and The Infidel.

Omid’s career has been marked by a unique blend of comedy, which combines sharp political satire, observational humour, his Iranian heritage and an ability, just as his name means ‘hope’, to find hope and humour in unexpected places.

Isabella was prodigious on iMovie from an early age, where she cut her teeth editing everything and anything her and brothers made. She kept going, receiving a degree in Practical Filmmaking from Met Film School and a Masters in Documentary Film from University of the Arts London.

She was selected by Academy Award-winning producer Lord David Puttnam as a Puttnam Scholar in 2021, and in 2016 she was invited to a month-long cinema masterclass with Iranian Palme d'Or nominee Mohsen Makhmalbaf, which shaped her approach to socially-engaged filmmaking.

As well as producing, she brings extensive experience as a broadcast editor, having worked on documentary and factual programming for Channel 4, BBC One, ITV, Paramount+ and more, giving her a strong editorial sensibility, and familiarity with broadcast standards and workflows.

Ara grew up in the rural borderlands of Ireland, where he kept himself busy writing stories and binding them into books for his friends at school.

He has since written, directed and produced award-winning films that have screened internationally at BAFTA, IFTA and Oscar-qualifying festivals. His debut drama Turf received Special Recognition for Debut Irish Short Film at the Foyle Film Festival and won Best Short Fiction at the Louth International Film Festival. His work has been supported by the British Council, BBC / Make Film History and Future Screens NI, and has been broadcast on BBC iPlayer.

Alongside his filmmaking, as a visual artist he has been shortlisted for the RDS Visual Art Awards as one of Ireland’s top 13 art graduates, exhibited at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and completed a PhD at the Belfast School of Art.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Shahin is a 'wannabe comedian' turned Executive Producer whose joyful, booming laugh fills the meetings of Tiny Speck.

A natural storyteller and powerful communicator, Shahin has served as Executive Producer on films such as California Schemin, Grow, About a Bell, Cast Aside the Clouds,The Infidel and Guidance, as well as a wide range of media, including documentaries and podcasts.

Shahin is a serial entrepreneur who has successfully created and sold many businesses. Throughout his career he has worked to transcend differences, harmonise perspectives, and promote the use of diversity consultation. Based between Toronto, the UK and Europe he connects Tiny Speck with both sides of the Atlantic.
